The iTrust Cares division of iTrust Wellness Group provides comprehensive mental health and cognitive care services to residents of independent and assisted living communities throughout South Carolina. As we continue to expand our presence in the upstate, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Adult‑Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) or Psychiatric‑Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PHMP) to join our team in a contract‑to‑hire capacity as an independent contractor.
This role begins as a 1099 independent contractor position, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on mutual interest, performance, and organizational needs.

Ideal Candidate Profile

AGNP or PHMP with an active South Carolina license (or ability to obtain)
Genuine passion for working with the geriatric population
Strong clinical judgment and confidence in developing evidence‑based treatment plans
Solid foundation in psychopharmacology with an interest in continued learning
Ability to practice independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team

Schedule & Work Setting

Monday–Friday
In‑person patient visits within partnered independent and assisted living communities
Flexible scheduling with autonomy to support a healthy work‑life balance

Support & Resources Provided

Administrative support for scheduling, billing, licensing, and credentialing
Access to clinical consultation, professional development resources, and continuing education
Technology and equipment provided, with ongoing technical support
